Moda Furnishings is one of the leading rattan garden furniture retailers in the UK.
They sell their own range of luxury rattan garden furniture direct to the consumer through multiple channels including their online store and regional showrooms.
Moda Furnishings has seen significant growth since they first started working with Fluid Commerce in 2016. We have supported them with Magento development, ongoing Magento support and PPC.
As Magento 1 end-of-life approaching in 2019, they needed to migrate to an enterprise platform with high functionality that would improve the customer experience and maximise the retailer’s high growth.
As part of the migration, Moda knew they needed to improve conversion rate and site speed. These were set as key targets for the project.
As part of the migration to Magento 2, we built a custom product structure for the Moda Furnishings team.
This allows customers to search by product set colour option, and then order full sets of products.
The new structure still allows the team the ability to manage stock and warehouse picking on individual items.
Magento 2’s Business Intelligence also gives the team the enterprise insights they need to highlight opportunities and expedite their growth.
Alongside the new site, we have worked with the retailer on an ongoing basis to manage their paid advertising strategy across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
The strategy for the paid search campaigns was to grow market share and revenue whilst maintaining profitability across key audiences and platforms.

Integrations for the site include Klevu search, to make sure customers can find the right product for them, as quickly and easily as possible.
The Magento 2 site can also take advantage of customer segmentation to drive personalised shopping experiences for different customer groups.
These features will improve conversion rate across the site by delivering content tailored to the customer.
The new Adobe Commerce site has improved operational efficiency with content staging and preview functionality.
This feature has supported the Moda team in planning their marketing campaigns and content updates.
