Role Overview
As a project manager at Fluid Commerce you will report to the Senior project manager and Technical director, and be responsible for the delivery of a wide variety of different client projects carried out by the agency. Working with multi-million pound e-commerce clients this role will cover the management of large scale, custom Magento 2 projects, Magento PWA projects; and a wide range of projects for our current clients (such as a redesign, or building new stores). This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a multi award-winning E-com development team.
Training on Magento will be supplied, and progression towards Adobe Solutions Specialist certification will be provided.
Requirements
- End-to-end management of projects to deliver on-time and on-budget
- Management of discovery / scoping for projects
- Creation and approval of technical specifications & change control documents
- Close management of tickets within JIRA or a similar project management workflow system
- Reporting to key stakeholders of the project using a number of tools (RAG, budget reports, velocity reports, etc)
- Taking ownership of the project, managing sprints as well as ‘owning’ project reviews & retrospectives
- Identifying resource requirements and assign responsibilities, working with the account management & support teams to ensure our clients are best serviced
- Identify potential upsell/cross-sell opportunities into other areas of the business (support/marketing/social)
Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge Required
- At least 2 years working in an agency environment
- Experience managing complex e-commerce projects
- A passion for e-commerce
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience with JIRA, Monday.com or similar software
- Knowledge of Agile/ SCRUM processes
- Previous experience working with Magento would be desirable
- Previous experience managing headless commerce projects is highly desirable
